 I was very satisfied with this croquet set December 25, 2008
I bought the Halex Select 6 Player Croquet Set in Deluxe Carry Case for four of my grandson's and when it arrived, which was very quickly, the product was in good condition and it assemble perfectly. I do believe they are going to love it. I won't be able to see them until the 30th of Dec. , so I can't wait to see their faces: ages 9,6,6,and 4. You do have to put a little muscle behind screwing the mallets together,but that's ok, it only insures me that they won't come apart easily. I reccommend this product highly.

We wanted an inexpensive set for when the grandchildren arrive. This product fit the bill very well

We had a lot of fun with this over the summer! The bag is okay, but not heavy. It's an inexpensive set. I would not recommend this set for kids that are going to be setting this up themselves a lot since it's a lesser quality one. However, it works just fine for us and our needs!!!

I was excited when I read that the set came with a "Deluxe Carrying Case", but when the item arrived, I soon became disappointed. The case is really nice, but when I screwed the mallets & the handles together, they no longer fit in the case! I can fit two (layed on opposite sides) with the handles sticking out of the case. I can't zip it shut, but can close the Velcro on the top, I wanted to be able to carry all of them! If I wanted to carry all the mallets in the case & zip it closed, I would have to unscrew the mallets from the handles each time after using them, then I would have to worry about stripping the handles. What a bother that would be!
We did use them & I agree for the price, the set will do, but next time when designing the case, take the someone should take the length into account please! That was misleading advertising to say it came with a "Deluxe Carrying Case" when it can't even be used properly!
