Product Description
The urban backpack can be worn as a sling bagg, or unzip the straps and reattach them to make a comfortable backpack. There are outside zippered pockets on both the front and the back, and the contrasting color inside makes it easy to find whatever you are looking for. Unzip the sides and this bagg opens completely to reveal two zippered pockets, a cell phone pocket, lipstick and pen holders and even pockets for ID and credit cards. The sides are gusseted to keep items secure. Made of light weight, water resistant ripstop nylon material.

3 out of 5 stars Nice backpack   May 14, 2008
This backpack is perfect if you don't need to carry much stuff. It's on the small side. The internal pockets for credit cards are too small to fit a standard credit card so they are useless which means you need to still use a wallet.

The quality of construction is good and it looks nicer than the typical backpack. I don't feel like I look like a student carrying it around.

4 out of 5 stars Great Bag, but beware if you have shoulder issues   January 18, 2008

I've owned this bag for several years. For a while it was my "go to" bag, and though it's fallen out of daily use, I am not ready to give it up.

The credit card and cell phone pockets are very handy, and two outer zip pockets keep things safe, but quick to access.

I would have one caveat though, and that is, wearing it over one shoulder (as I prefer to do) can cause some shoulder and neck strain. No doubt, if you lighten your load, you can alleviate some of this. The bag itself is lightweight, and keeping the contents light as well will help.

5 out of 5 stars Very pleased.   October 5, 2007

I am a mother of 3 small children and don't have the hands to hold a purse. I love this backpack because it is not bulky but very functional. It also has a lighter color interier avoiding the "black hole." It has been very sturdy. I have been very pleased.

I originally purchased this bag to carry on vacation, but I liked it so much I use it all the time now. I really like all the organization features.

In fact, I am going to purchase another one.

4 out of 5 stars Traveling light!   May 29, 2007

This backpack bag is great when traveling light, like riding motorcycles or sightseeing. I also use it for everyday. It converts quickly and easily to a sling/shoulder bag, and it's very light. The bag doesn't hold a LOT but it's not meant to. I can carry my camera, cell phone, sunglasses, reading glasses, and other assorted necessities, and I love not having to carry a separate wallet - all my IDs and credit cards fit securely in the slots. The magnetic catch at the top keeps the bag closed when I neglect to zip up the sides. I had read some reviews that complained the bag wasn't big enough, but I have found it's size prevents me from carrying too much stuff with me. When I need to cary more with me, like lunch and workout gear, this backpack bag slips easily into my larger "briefcase" bag (which is also made by Baggellini) so I'm toting everything in just one bag over my shoulder.
